I haven't gotten up the courage to spend 20 bucks on the tropical flavor. I've stuck to Vanilla, Double Dark Chocolate, Mint Chocolate, Strawberry and Rocky Road.

I have both the Vanilla Ice Cream and Double Dark Chocolate and they both taste great (for protein powder, anyway). Best I've tried out of 5 or 6 brands.

Sure. The last brand I used before the current one, Now Whey Protein, seemed to work pretty well. However, it didn't seem to mix all that well and the taste was rather overwhelming and bad. However, a little banana seemed to help with covering that up. Of course, it could just seem to have worked well due to my working out more often and a better diet, etc. I was told that it's cheaper than 100% Whey Protein Gold, but I didn't bother to actually check up on that. If you read the ingredients, it seems to have some pretty good stuff in it - that's what I really liked about it. I really wish that FitConnect would have the ingredients listed, preferably picture like I've seen on other sites.
To sum up...
Pros: great ingredients & price
Cons: taste, mixing
I'll probably try the 100% again. Again, because of the change in diet & more/different/better exercise habits. But I'll say this about it...
1) The vanilla ice cream flavor was actually really tasty.
2) It mixes very well, at least in my Magic Bullet.
However, it doesn't seem to have as good of ingredients as the Now. A good place to check & compare the ingredients is on at the bodybuilding.com store.
I just started using EAS 100% Whey Protein. Still a little too early to tell as far as results. Tastes ok, nothing special. Mixes ok...again, nothing special. But it seems to be cheap. I got a 5 LB container for about $20 at Target. Only reason I got it is because I got it confused with EAS Myoplex, which Rusty recommends.
However, looking at the ingredients...
It has sucralose. I see that as a negative.
After the EAS is gone, I plan on trying Champion Ultramet Lite. Want the Lite cuz I'm trying to cut my BF% down to 10%. Using it for meal replacement...not sure if it would be good for a post-workout shake. Maybe I should also buy another case of the NOW to use for post-workout shakes. Thoughts?
Sorry...I tend to be long-winded. :-) Hope that helps.

Hey ron, what other brand are you using and how's it working out for you? It'd be cool to hear a comparison of what you think of the two

Not using at the moment, as I decided to try another brand after reading a review. However, I must say that the vanilla ice cream flavor actually tastes great! I might switch back if I don't try yet another brand after using up the current one.
